We start the show off this week with songs saluting reggae music from Bunny Wailer, Bob Marley, Winston Jarrett, Aswad, and White Mice. Two Rasta Man, Lincoln Thompson and the Royal Rasses, Etana, Nitty Gritty, and Maxi Priest are also in the early mix. New music this week comes from Shaggy, Chuky and Gyptian, Singing Melody, New Kingston, and Marsha Morrison. Riddim rides this week feature the Fairground Riddim, The World View Riddim, The Time Square Riddim and The Think Twice Riddim featuring music from Duane Stephenson, Luciano, and Turbulence. Also this week you will hear a heap of oldies from the likes of Nora Dean. Derrick Harriot, Errol Dunkley, The Paragons, Delroy Wilson, Desmond Dekker, Slim Smith, Alton Ellis, and The Ethiopians.
This weeks Dub Zone comes in a classic style with dubs from Soul Syndicate, Prince Jammy, King Tubby, The Upsetters, Jack Ruby, and Jackie Mittoo. Extended mixes in the zone this week come from Ronnie Davis, Barry Brown, Burning Spear, Lacksley Castell, Barrington Levy, and Dennis Brown with Aswad.

In this year ending episode of Sounds of the Caribbean we review the music that was released in the year 2011 and played on the show the past year. You will hear selections from Luciano, Richie Spice, Etana, Earl Sixteen, Tarrus Riley, Little Roy, Israel Vibration, Sizzla, and Midnite. We ride one of the hottest riddims of 2011, the Skateland Killer riddim from maximum Sound and play selections from the Gregory Isaacs tribute cd We Remember Gregory Isaacs and the Various Artist cd Reggae's Gone Country. On a dancehall tip you will hear music from Mavado, Pressure Busspipe, and Vybz Kartel. You will also hear music from Ansel Cridland, Tanya Stephens, Yvad, Zion, and Dave Eggar. We round out the show riding the latest riddim release entitled the Cool & Deadly riddim with music from Maxi Priest & Sanchez and our pick for the 2011 Reggae grammy award Stephen Marley.
