<p>This weeks edition of Sounds of the Caribbean is a true mix of reggae music old and new with things starting off with the new sounds from The Nazarines and Mystic Man, then carrying on with classics from Dennis Brown &#038; Dillinger, Horace Andy, Gregory Isaacs, The Chantells, and The Meditations. We also take a listen to some tracks from the new various artists cd entitled  Joyful Noise from I Grade Records which features artists such as Pressure, Queen Omega, and Duane Stephenson. Also in the way of new music this week we touch on the new Strictly The Best Vols. 40 &#038; 41 from VP. Riddims included this weeks show are The Focus Riddim, The Silver Plate Riddim, and The Ghetto Riddim.
This weeks Dub Zone features dubs from Burning Spear, Gussie Clarke, The Revolutionaries, Prince Jammy, and King Tubby with The Soul Syndicate. Extended mixes in the zone this week are from the likes of Black Uhuru, Barrington Levy, Creation Stepper with The Dubateers, Beverly Bailey &#038; I Roy, and Earl Sixteen.</p>

This week we ride several riddims including The Red Razor Riddim, The new Vineyard Town Riddim, The Focus Riddim, and The Serve and Protect Riddim featuring Queen Ifrica, Romain Virgo, and Lutan Fyah. Also this week you will hear several selections from The Twilight Circus Dub Soundsystem Cd Rasta International. As the show closes you will hear an extended mix from Black Uhuru and a double play from Don Carlos.</p>

The show carries on with music from Queen Ifrica, Inner Visions, Bamjimba, The Maytones, Earl Sixteen, Johnny Osbourne, Junior Byles and Michael Prophet. You will also hear two different versions of The Tune in Riddim. One old school  by Sugar Minott and one new school by Cherine Anderson. This week we ride riddims such as The Dub Rebel Riddim featuring Freddie McGregor and Natty King, the Jahovia riddim featuring the likes of Mr Vegas, Lukie D, and Fantan Mojah, and The Ghetto riddim featuring Etana, Richie Spice, Gyptian,  Peetah Morgan and Busy Signal. You will also hear new music from Duane Stephenson along with tunes from Tarrus Riley, Anthony B, Gregory Isaacs, and Gramps Morgan.</p>

Also included this week is a Tarrus Riley music spotlight which features a short Tarrus interview live from the tour bus. Tarrus and Keith discuss songs new and old and also touch on what it was like growing up as Jimmy Riley&#8217;s son. Also this week we ride the Serve &#038; Protect riddim and the new Sugar riddim. You will also hear new music from TOK, Baijie, Calton Coffie, and more Carlene Davis.</p>

<p>This weeks Sounds of the Caribbean features a high energy roots mix featuring the likes of Barry Brown, Johnny Clarke, Earl Zero, Cocoa Tea, Dennis Brown, and Cornell Campbell with U Roy. New music from Beres Hammond, Mark Wonder, Mungos Hifi and Tarrus Riley are also included. An oldies set featuring Rudy Thomas, The Ethiopians and Winston Francis is in the mix and we also ride the new Reggae Is My Reward Riddim. </p>
<p>This weeks show also features Keith interviewing Etana who phones into the show straight from Kingston Jamaica. Keith and Etana discuss her new cd The Strong One and also talk about her family background along with her sprouting musical career.</p>
<p>This weeks Dub Zone puts a spotlight on the works of the great Augustus Pablo. Also in the Zone this week you can hear music from Rod Taylor, Cutty Ranks, The Immortals, and Jacob Miller.</p>

<p>Sounds of the Caribbean returns to its normal time and traditional sound. This week we feature music from Mykal Rose, Dennis Brown, The Mystic Revealers, Midnite and Gregory Isaacs. New music from Rootz Underground, Etana, Tarrus Riley, Dubmatix, and Mavado can also be heard. We continue our look at the music of The High Priest of Reggae Roy Shirley who passed away recently and take a ride on the Chi Chi Bud riddim featruring Terry Linen, Marcia Griffiths, and Freddie McGregor.</p>
<p>This weeks Dub Zone features the music of Carl Patterson and King Tubby, Augustus Clarke, and Leroy Smart.Classic soounds from Jah Stitch, Jackie Mittoo, Black Uhuru are featured as well as new music from McPullish&#8217;s Back To Mount Zion riddim.</p>
