This weeks Sounds of the Caribbean starts off in high energy style with the likes of Peter Tosh, Ernie Smith, Morgan Heritage and Israel Vibration. That energy carries on through out the program as we get into double plays of Steel Pulse and Ini Kamoze. We also check new music from Wayne Wonder, Etana, Jamelody, and Elijah with Morgan Heritage. We also go back into the past with music from Pat Kelly, Jackie Bernard and Cornel Campbell. Duane Stephenson, Daville, Barrington Levy,Bob Marley & The Wailers and more can also be heard in this weeks mix.
The Dub Zone this week focuses on the heavy weight dub sounds of Jah Warrior, The Vibronics, Jah Shaka, Alpha & Omega, and The Bush Chemists. Also in the Dub Zone this week is Martin Campbell, Prince Alla, Max Romeo, King General, and Midnite.

This weeks Sounds of the Caribbean mixes it up with new music including songs from Junior Kelly & Queen Ifrica doing a duet, Syren Hall, Yaz Alexander, Morgan Heritage and Kevin Lyttle. In the classic mix there is music from Don Carlos, The Gladiators, Ernie Smith, Lyn Tait and The Mighty Diamonds. Music from Lee Scratch Perry’s Chicken Scratch is also featured. We also ride the riddims Istanbul and Midnight.
This weeks Dub Zone spotlights the music of Joe Gibbs and also The Mighty Two. Music from Junior Murvin, Trinity, Culture, Jacob Miller, and Cornell Campbell is featured.

This weeks podcast of Sounds of the Caribbean celebrates the birthday of the “Crown Prince Of Reggae” the one and only Dennis Emmanuel Brown. A show entirely dedicated to the music of Dennis Brown.
You will hear the hits like, Revolution, Love Has Found Its Way, Sitting & Watching, and If I had The World. Some less heard Dennis Brown tunes are in the mix as well, like The Cheater, Take A Trip, No More Shall I Roam and Ababajoni.
