This weeks Sounds of the Caribbean starts out with roots classics from Pablo Moses, Jacob Miller, Black Uhuru and The Mighty Diamonds. The show carries on with music from Queen Ifrica, Inner Visions, Bamjimba, The Maytones, Earl Sixteen, Johnny Osbourne, Junior Byles and Michael Prophet. You will also hear two different versions of The Tune in Riddim. One old school by Sugar Minott and one new school by Cherine Anderson. This week we ride riddims such as The Dub Rebel Riddim featuring Freddie McGregor and Natty King, the Jahovia riddim featuring the likes of Mr Vegas, Lukie D, and Fantan Mojah, and The Ghetto riddim featuring Etana, Richie Spice, Gyptian, Peetah Morgan and Busy Signal. You will also hear new music from Duane Stephenson along with tunes from Tarrus Riley, Anthony B, Gregory Isaacs, and Gramps Morgan.
This weeks Dub Zone kicks off with a double dub shot of King Tubby music and also includes dubs from The Roots Radics, Bebo In Dub, and Scientist. You will also hear extended dub mixes from The Wailing Souls, Clinton Fearon, Cornell Campbell with Papa Tullo, and Earl Sixteen with Zion Train.
